It is with a very heavy heart that I share the news of my 19 year-old niece's passing. Elizabeth lost her battle with cancer last night. In her honor, I am going to be making purple butterflies. I'm not sure what I will do with them yet, but I'm thinking something like sewing them onto quilt squares or into the corners of handkerchiefs. Maybe I will put them in cards for family and friends.
I didn't get a chance to teach her to tat, but now her grandpa can do it in heaven.

Its sad to hear about someone so young passing away. Thinking of you and your family.
I've very sorry to hear that. As you're making butterflies, I'm sure something will come to mind that will be just the right thing to do with them.
I am so sorry to hear of Elizabeths passing. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Joy my heart goes out to you and your family.
Sorry to hear about your loss! Here's a big ((hug)) for you! :)
I am so sorry to hear this! My thoughts and prayers go out to you and all of Elizabeth's family.
I am very sorry to hear about the loss of your niece. It is very sad. Your story about the butterflies reminds me about one of the nurses I work with. She lost a niece when whe was around Elizabeth's age. On the anniversay of her death someone mentioned butterlies and Julie said that her niece really liked butterflies. I had a bunch of tatted butterflies, so I put them on her locker. She really liked them, and I keep adding to them. I will make sure that she has some purple ones for Elizabeth. Once again, I am sorry for your loss. Elizabeth (it is my name too)
Sorry to be so late in seeing this. It's sad to hear about the younger generation dying from this horrible disease. Good luck with your butterflies and I'm sure you will come up with a good idea of how to use them. I will say a prayer for her.
